TÜV SÜD Industrie Service GmbH Zertifizierungsstelle Werkstoff- und Schweißtechnik is accredited by the German Accreditation Body for its certification activities in materials and welding technology, effective from April 26, 2023. The body operates in accordance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013 and adheres to additional legal and normative requirements, including sector-specific programs. Its certification activities encompass conformity assessments related to standards for steel structures, welding of concrete steel, fusion welding of metallic materials, and factory production control certification under Regulation No. 305/2011 for construction products. The certification also covers welding processes for manufacturing and repairing rail vehicles, compliant with EN 15085-2:2020-12 standards. TÜV SÜD's management system aligns with DIN EN ISO 9001 principles, and it is authorized to implement new revisions of technical specifications without prior approval from the accreditation body.
