This scope is an annex to an accreditation certificate issued by the German Accreditation Body, valid from 06.04.2023. It pertains to certification activities for equipment and protective systems for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, in compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013 standards. The certification is held by TÜV Rheinland Industrie Service GmbH for ATEX certification activities. The certification covers conformity assessments according to Directive 2014/34/EU, including EU-type examination, conformity to type, supervised product checks, and individual testing for various equipment categories in explosive atmospheres. The certification also meets the requirements of the Product Safety Act and relevant EU directives.
