TESTEX AG is accredited as a certification body for personal protective equipment (PPE) and textile products according to ISO/IEC 17065. It is authorized to certify conformity with the EU Regulation 2016/425 on personal protective equipment, including Category III high-risk PPE such as protection against hazardous substances, oxygen deficiency, biological agents, ionizing radiation, extreme temperatures, electric shock, and chainsaw cuts. The accreditation covers conformity assessment modules including EU type-examination (Module B) and internal production control with product surveillance (Module C2). Additionally, TESTEX AG certifies PPE against various European standards for protective clothing, including EN ISO 13688, EN ISO 20471, EN 343, EN ISO 11612, EN 469, and others related to protection against heat, flames, chemicals, mechanical risks, and electrostatic properties.
