This scope is an attachment to an accreditation certificate issued to the Technical Inspection Association Thuringia e.V. for certification activities related to elevators and their safety components. The certification complies with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013 standards and additional legal and normative requirements. The certification covers product, process, and service certifications in the elevator and safety component sectors, in accordance with Directive 2014/33/EU. It includes EU type examinations, final inspections, individual tests, design examinations, and conformity assessments for safety components preventing uncontrolled movement of elevator cars. The certification also meets the requirements of the Product Safety Act, the 12th ProdSV, and Directive 2014/33/EU. The certification is valid from September 28, 2023, and is in line with the principles of ISO 9001.
