This scope is an annex to an accreditation certificate issued to CSA Group Bayern GmbH Certification Body, valid from 10.02.2025. It confirms compliance with DIN EN ISO/IEC 17065:2013 for conducting conformity assessment activities related to various electricity meters, including additional devices and equipment. The certification also covers products, processes, and services in the fields of electricity metering, including specific requirements outlined in the German legal framework (MessEG and MessEV) and EU directives (2014/32/EU). The certification body meets the criteria of relevant standards (e.g., EN ISO/IEC 17020, 17021-1, 17025) for expert evaluation and assessment in conformity assessment procedures.
